Ingredients
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork
1 cup breadcrumbs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1/4 cup finely chopped celery
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, chopped onion, green bell pepper, celery, minced garlic, beaten eggs, ketchup, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour or until the meatloaf is cooked through and has a golden-brown crust on top.
Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy!
