Ingredients
- 2 cups barbecue sauce
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 3 cloves of garlic, freshly minced
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
- 4 to 5 pounds of baby back ribs
Preparation
- In a zip-top bag, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne pepper if using.
- Seal the bag and knead it with your hands to mix the ingredients well. Add the ribs to the bag.
- Reseal the bag and shake it to ensure the ribs are thoroughly coated with the marinade.
- Spray the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray and place the ribs inside.
- Pour half of the marinade from the bag over the ribs in the crockpot to cover them.
- Cook on high heat for 4 to 5 hours or on low heat for 9 hours, until the meat is falling off the bone.
- For slightly firmer meat that stays on the bone, cook on low heat for 7 hours.
- For an extra touch, transfer the ribs to a baking sheet and broil them for 2 minutes until the glaze is bubbling and caramelized.
- Serve with extra sauce on the side for those who want more.
Enjoy !
